The staff here is very nice and helpful, that’s the only pro I can say. When I got to my room and I was unpacking my things, someone in the room next door to me tried to open the door that connects the two rooms. I didn’t think too much about it cause it was probably a guest and he thought it was a closet or it was a worker making sure it was locked. I was with my family and we were at a hike and when we were getting back to the hotel it took my dad two tries to get to the entrance, they had a sign but it wasn’t lit up so you couldn’t see it. When I was trying to sleep I kept hearing noises all night but I eventually slept.
What can I say don’t expect a resort when staying here but you get what you pay for. Nice cheap place to lay our heads to sleep and explore the outdoor options near the area, also love that my two dogs are always able to stay free at red roof. The lady at the front desk was super sweet! No microwave in the rooms but they do have one you can use in the coffee area. The only real complaint I have were that the mattress and pillows were slightly uncomfortable...probably needs an upgrade. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay!
I can't believe all these negative reviews on here because I have stayed here and the employees there are awesome. Yea their elevator is broken but they go that extra mile to try to make it a great stay The handicap room was taken when I was there and Mary got a handicap seat and put it in the tub for me.. The rooms are always clean !!!! . I wish there were more places like this one out there.
Things that were out of order: Elevator, ice machine, no continental breakfast. Swimming pool was open but tile in the pool cracked, broke, or missing. Staff was decently friendly though.
Everyone besides the woman who checked us in was more than kind and helpful. Our room was clean... once you got up there (don't plan on using the elevator, it is not an option)
